We have travelled in China a lot and had never been anywhere like this. Nobody was selling us anything. The village stays were simple and completely genuine.

★★★★★
I've done China three times and this was the first time it felt like being a guest rather than a tourist. We ate in people's homes and nobody tried to sell us anything.
Ingrid F. · Netherlands · 13-day Guizhou
★★★★★
The mountain roads are no joke, but our driver was brilliant and the villages were worth every hour in the car.
Sam & Jo · New Zealand · 13-day Guizhou
★★★★★
I booked for Miao New Year and it was everything promised — silver, drums, bullfights. Our guide knew the families, so we weren't just watching from the side.
Elena R. · Italy · 13-day Guizhou
★★★★★
The food alone justifies the trip — sour, smoky, nothing like the Chinese food we knew. Our guide translated every meal and every conversation, and made the whole thing feel easy.
